Environment Art from Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium Online (Unreleased)

 

My principal duties on this project were scene composition, lighting, decoration, terrain sculpting, and texturing.

Selected Modeling and Texture Work

This model was based on a piece of black-and-white concept art that was provided to me, and was made to adhere to given specifications. The image on the left is the high poly model, which was used to bake the normals for the low poly version on the right. The textures are hand painted and use a color scheme of my own design.

The first two images below show four mesh pieces that serve as the basis for a larger modular construction set. The textures are almost entirely hand-painted and based off textures baked from high poly versions of the models.

The third image shows a model I created for a city building game. The model was based off of a line concept that was provided to me, but I did some re-arranging of the elements in order to fit the square tile footprint desired by the development team, while maintaining the original spirit of the building.
